About the Assessment

KisilikTipi.com is an independent personality assessment platform that combines multiple psychological frameworks instead of relying on a single model. Its goal is not to place people into rigid categories, but to help them better understand their behavioral tendencies, motivations, and personality characteristics, ultimately supporting greater self-awareness.

The assessment consists of 105 questions in total: 20 Big Five, 45 Enneagram, and 40 MBTI items. Each section is designed to examine a different dimension of personality, and the final results are based on the overall response pattern rather than a single score or isolated answer.

Why Don't We Use a Single Model?

Human personality is highly complex, and no single personality model can fully explain every aspect of human behavior. For this reason, KisilikTipi.com combines the Big Five model, which is widely supported by psychological research, the Enneagram, which focuses on core motivations and behavioral patterns, and the MBTI framework, which describes personality preferences. By integrating these complementary perspectives, the assessment aims to provide a more balanced and comprehensive personality profile.

How Was the Assessment Developed?

The personality assessment on KisilikTipi.com is not a direct translation of any existing test. Instead, both the questionnaire and the scoring methodology were developed using a hybrid, multi-model approach inspired by several widely recognized personality frameworks.

Each framework explains a different aspect of personality. Rather than relying on a single system, we combine the strengths of multiple models to provide a broader and more balanced assessment.

🧠 Literature Review

During development, we reviewed published literature and research related to the Big Five, SLOAN, MBTI, and Enneagram frameworks to identify shared behavioral patterns and underlying personality dimensions.

✍️ Question Design

Instead of translating existing questionnaires word for word, each item was carefully rewritten for English language use. Questions were designed to be clear, easy to understand, and focused on measuring a single behavioral tendency whenever possible.

🔄 Continuous Improvement

This assessment is an evolving project. The question pool and scoring algorithm are regularly reviewed and refined based on anonymous user data, user feedback, and emerging findings from personality research.

Models Used

Human personality is complex and cannot be fully explained by a single framework. For this reason, our assessment combines multiple complementary approaches to provide a broader and more balanced personality profile.

Big Five

The Big Five is one of the most widely accepted personality models in psychological research. It measures five broad dimensions of personality: Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Openness to Experience, and Emotional Stability (the opposite of Neuroticism).

Enneagram

The Enneagram is a nine-type personality framework that focuses less on observable behavior and more on a person's core motivations, fears, and decision-making tendencies.

MBTI Framework

The MBTI (Myers–Briggs Type Indicator) is a widely recognized framework for describing personality preferences. In this assessment, MBTI type estimates are derived from users' response patterns rather than from a direct replication of the official MBTI questionnaire.

How Are the Results Calculated?

The results of this assessment are not determined by a single question or score. Instead, the algorithm analyzes the user's complete response pattern, identifies behavioral tendencies, and combines insights from multiple personality frameworks into a single personality profile.

How Is Uncertainty Handled?

Human personality does not always fit neatly into clearly defined categories. Some individuals may display characteristics that closely resemble two different personality types or two Enneagram types.

For this reason, when multiple results are very close, the algorithm may present alternative personality types instead of forcing an uncertain result into a single category.

This approach is intended to:
  • Produce more realistic results
  • Avoid creating a false sense of certainty
  • Encourage users to reflect on how the results relate to their own experiences.

Rather than being considered a flaw in the assessment, uncertainty is treated as a natural reflection of the complexity and diversity of human personality.

Early User Data

Throughout its development, the assessment has been continuously refined using anonymous result distributions and real user feedback. The figures below summarize overall statistics from completed assessments as of Agu 2026.

18
Enneagram Variants
All 9 core types and their wings
32
SLOAN Profiles
A diverse distribution across profiles
What Do These Data Suggest?
  • Results are not concentrated in a single personality type.
  • All 16 MBTI personality types have been observed among users.
  • All nine Enneagram types are represented in the collected data.
  • SLOAN profiles show a naturally diverse distribution.

These statistics do not constitute psychometric validation. However, they indicate that the algorithm is capable of producing a wide range of personality profiles rather than disproportionately assigning users to only a few personality types.

Psychometric Development

The quality of a personality assessment depends not only on the number of questions it contains, but also on the quality of its measurement. For this reason, KisilikTipi.com is designed as an evolving project that is continuously reviewed and improved.

📈 Continuous Analysis

Anonymous user data are regularly analyzed to evaluate question quality and improve the scoring algorithm.

🧪 Future Research

Future versions are expected to include psychometric analyses such as internal consistency, item analysis, and test–retest reliability to further evaluate the assessment's measurement quality.

💡 User Feedback

Feedback from real users plays an important role in the ongoing development of the assessment.

The current version continues to evolve based on real user feedback. Once a sufficiently large sample size has been collected, we plan to publish the following psychometric analyses:
  • Cronbach's Alpha (Internal Consistency)
  • Item Discrimination Analysis
  • Test–Retest Reliability
  • Construct Validity
  • Factor Analysis

As these studies are completed, this methodology page will be updated accordingly.

Scientific Limitations

No personality assessment can fully capture the complexity of human personality. Personality is influenced by many factors, including:

  • Age
  • Life experiences
  • Cultural background
  • Stress levels
  • Stage of life
  • Education
  • Social environment

For this reason, the results should not be interpreted as a definitive description of who you are. Instead, they are intended to provide insights into your personality tendencies and support greater self-understanding.
